Old Town is the densest concentration of galleries, restaurants and event spaces in the Valley, and it runs on a season. From January through April the calendar fills with receptions, art events, resort programmes and weddings stacked onto the same weekends.
The ArtWalk on Thursday evenings has run for decades and still shapes the week here. Galleries open late, the streets fill, and parking around Marshall Way and Main Street becomes a real consideration for anything happening the same night.
Most of our Old Town work is receptions rather than seated dinners — gallery openings, corporate client events, and parties in spaces that were built as something else. The buildings are the constraint, not the guest count.

Thursday ArtWalk, seasonal events and resort programmes all bring crowds and parking pressure to the same few blocks. We check your date against what is happening around you before planning load-in.
Load-in with no dock
Most Old Town buildings have no loading dock and some have no service entrance. We walk the route first and plan a compact setup that fits what the building actually allows.
Kitchen access, or none
Many gallery and loft spaces have a prep sink and nothing else. We arrive with our own cook line and work off it, so the venue does not shape your menu.
Passed food that works standing up
At a reception nobody has a table. Everything passed is built to two bites and one hand, so guests are not negotiating a plate while trying to talk.

What if the space has no kitchen?
That is the norm in Old Town and it does not limit the menu. We arrive with our own cook line and quiet generators and work off them rather than depending on the venue.
Can you work around ArtWalk or a busy event weekend?
Yes. Thursday ArtWalk and the winter season calendar bring crowds and parking pressure to the same blocks. We check what is happening around your date and plan load-in timing around it.
How do you staff a large standing reception?
We quote the labour honestly rather than under-staffing to win the number, hold passed items to a two-bite standard, and replenish stations from the back instead of across the floor.
How does your pricing work?
Every event is quoted individually rather than from a package tier. Tell us your guest count, the property and the style of service you want, and you will have a written quote back, usually within an hour or two, that itemizes food, staffing, rentals and bar separately.
